What can we say about dear Fr Sean that has not been said already? We loved to meet him on his peregrinations around the streets of Ruislip, where he would greet us as if were a highlight of his day to stop for a bit of craic. He surely, in his trusty sandals, walked his talk. And, our hearts soared as two left-handlers in a family of right-handed people to see Fr Sean deftly using his southpaw to distribute the Holy Eucharist. A first for us! He was truly inclusive. We did not know him long in terms of time, but his wonderful impact on us will remain for the rest of our lives. Farewell. Rest in peace and rise in glory with the Lord.

I was an altar boy at the Five Precious Wounds in Stonebridge from 1991 til 2000 and I knew Fr Sean when he took over from the previous priest in 1993. He was a very nice guy, kind to all, would chat to everyone. He loved football as did I and we had great banter, the parish was gutted when he left. He was a brilliant priest to serve for and was dedicated to serving the parish, he gave 110% in every mass. It was a pleasure to know him and may he rest in eternal peace.

‘Every day I wake up, is a good day’ …. Father Sean was the best of humans. After only two years at Sacred heart he gifted us so much and connected with everyone young and old. My family will really miss you Fr Sean.
